I love pizza. Who doesn’t? There are plenty of pizza joints in the city, each with their own unique offerings and specialties. But one that allows you to “make your own pizza”? That does not escape me.

Located in 24 Katada Street, just a stone’s throw away from Silliman University, The Rollin’ Pin makes for a wonderful coffee and pastry shop. Born from the partnership of young chef Antoine Rollin and girlfriend, Armegyn Maglenti, this French patisserie has been running for a little more than a year now. The place is quite small with just enough room for a few people to sit around. Artworks by local artists like Hersley-Ven Casero hang from its walls. Although it can get packed during breakfast and lunch hours, the place is perfect for those needing a quiet spot for their afternoon coffee.
