Falling for Madeleine

There’s a new addition to the quaint culinary scene of Dumaguete City, and that’s Cafe Madeleine. Upon entering this cafe along EJ Blanco Drive, Piapi, you’ll be mesmerized with a unique Victorian accent and a bit of rodeo action on the side. You see, when you roam the streets of Dumaguete almost every corner has a “manokan”, karinderya or “tocinohan” apart from the numerous fancy restos and coffee shops scattered all over the city. However, nestled just 2 blocks away from the Belfry is a food hub that offers something new, unique and oh so fresh. It’s among the few restaurants here that cater to foodies who prefer local and organic meals. The place is definitely a haven for those who like to eat fresh and healthy food, hence its name Lokal Organic Cafe.
